Lower Extremity Venous and Arterial Studies

Decreased perfusion to the lower extremities is often a complication of Diabetes. If eligible, our doctors will order an ultrasound to detect any abnormalities in circulation which is a service provided in our office.

 

 

Fine Needle Aspiration – Thyroid Biopsy

Dr. Frisch, Dr. Feng, and all of our providers have put their trust in Afirma Thyroid Analysis for several years. Afirma provides accurate pathology reports, which are typically available within 5-7 days of the procedure. While there is a 30% chance the result will be returned as “in determinant,” Afirma performs a Gene Expressor Classifier analysis to further investigate the pathology in these cases. This unique analysis has proven to save 50% of thyroids from being removed that we noncancerous.

The Patient Portal gives patients 24/7 access to their medical information from the comfort and privacy of their own homes. The Portal provides secure communication between our office and patients and allows patients to be proactive in the management of their own health. Patients can view lab results, request refills, request an appointment, view scheduled appointment time/date, or ask general questions. Patient Education

Nutritional guidance, diabetes education, and insulin pump training is available by appointment. Both non-insulin and insulin dependent diabetics are eligible for this service, which is covered by insurance.
